SO, THIS HOUSE MUST TRANSITION FROM A TRANSIENT VACATION HOME TO A PERMANENT RESIDENCE IN LATER YEARS. THIS 15 CONCEPT THAT HAS BEEN TRENDING IN RECENT YEARS. HISTORICALLY. VACATION HOMES WERE JUST SIMPLE BUNGALOWS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE HAD HEATING OR PLUMBING. AS FOR ROOM LAYOUT. SIMPLICITY IS SEEN AGAIN WITH AN AREA DEDICATED FOR LIVING DINING COOKING WITH TWO BEDROOMS DIRECTLY OR THE MAIN AREA AND PROVIDED, A BATHROOM ALONG WITH BASIC PLUMBING. FLOOR AREA WAS VERY MINIMAL FOR THESE ROOMS BEING THAT IT WAS VERY SHORT TERM. OVER TIME. THE BUNGALOW EVOLVED. ADDED FLOOR AREA ADDED ROOMS AND USES, AND BECAME A-SEASON RESIDENCES. THIS CAN BE SEEN IN NEIGHB0RHOODS SUCH AS BREEZY POINT. BROAD CHANNEL AND THE HAMPTONS.
