There are 5 time slots that you can utilize to transmit the data. You may transmit the data quickly using just one time slot or you may transmit the data slower using all 5 time slots or any number of time slots between 1 and 5.

If w[k] ∈ [0, 1] is the proportion of the message transmitted during the kth time slot the probability of successful transmission of the message in that time slot is p[k] = 1 − w[k].
Your assignment is to determine via matlab simulation the optimal usage of the 5 time slots to maximize your probability of success, that is, determine the proportion of the message to put in each time slot to maximize success and determine the probability of success for your optimal design.
