- Objectives
Understand feedback control.
- What to Bring
Each group should bring a USB storage device to store the screen image.
3 Open Loop ControlPlant
Figure 1: Plant Circuit
Steps:
- Construct the plant circuit according to Figure 1. Where R0 = 10k, C1 = 100F, C2 = 0.22F.
- Impulse response: A=1V, width=0.1s, f=1Hz. (1 Picture)
- Step Response: A=1V, f=1Hz.(1 Picture)
For example, for the step response, you should try to get something like the waveform shown in following figure.
Figure 2: Plant Result
Note 1: Do not destroy your plant circuit after you get the image, you are going to use it in the next part.

Lab 3 Feedback Control
Note 2: Do not forget to supply all the op-amps with DC voltage(Pin 4(-12V) and 7(12V))
Note 3: If a capacitor is labeled474, its capacitance is 47 104 pF; 224 is 22 104 pF

4 Feedback Control
Figure 4: Feedback Control Circuit
Steps:
- Add the feedback control circuit to the plant according to Figure 3. Where R1 = R3 = 150k, R2 = 3k, C3 = 0.47F.
- Impulse response: A=1V, width=0.1s, f=1Hz. (1 Picture)
- Step Response: A=1V, f=1Hz.(1 Picture)
For example, for step response, you should try to get something like the waveform shown in the following figure.
